¡Hola! Me llamo Amelia. Estoy en mi quarto año de universidad, estudiando español. A mí me gusta viajar, jugar tenis y montar en bicicleta y estudié en España en primavera de 2022. Mi Pueblo ha sido una buena oportunidad para mejorar mis habilidades orales en español y conocer otras personas increíbles que también encantan español. ¡Estoy emocionada para conocerte!

Hello! My name is Amelia, and I am a senior studying Spanish. I enjoy traveling, playing tennis, and bike riding, and I studied abroad in Spain in Spring 2022. Mi Pueblo has been a great opportunity for helping me improve my Spanish-speaking skills and meet amazing people who also love Spanish. I am excited to meet you!

¡Hola! Soy Matthew Seltzer. Soy estudiante de tercer año estudiando la ingeniería informática. En campus, fuera de Mi Pueblo, participo en Engineering Outreach Society y trabajo para CARE como tutor. Disfruto mucho de practicar mis habilidades de Español y de hablar con gente nueva, y ¡Mi Pueblo es una oportunidad buena de hacer ambas cosas!

Hi! I’m Matthew Seltzer. I’m a junior studying Computer Engineering. On campus, aside from Mi Pueblo, I’m involved in Engineering Outreach Society and I work for CARE as a tutor. I really enjoy practicing my Spanish skills and talking to new people, and Mi Pueblo is a great opportunity for both of these things!

Me llamo Matt y estoy en mi tercer año en la Universidad de Illinois. Estoy estudiando las finanzas con un menor en español. Me agradecido de ser parte de Mi Pueblo, donde he podido crecer mis habilidades con la lengua española. En campus, también soy parte de una fraternidad de negocios, Enactus, y Student Alumni Ambassadors además de programas de becas como Gies Scholars y Stamps Scholars. ¡Tengo muchas ganas de pasar más tiempo este semestre con la gente de Mi Pueblo!

My name is Matt, and I am a junior at the University of Illinois. I am studying finance with a minor in Spanish. I am grateful to be part of Mi Pueblo, where I have been able to grow my Spanish language abilities. On campus, I am also involved with a business fraternity, Enactus, and Student Alumni Ambassadors in addition to scholarship programs like Gies Scholars and Stamps Scholars. I am very much looking forward to spending more time this semester with the people of Mi Pueblo!

¡Hola! Me llamo Liz Mueller, y estoy estudiando Diseño Grafico con un menor en español. Estoy en mi tercer año en la universidad. Soy de un pueblo muy pequeño que se llama Germantown Hills, y está cerca de Peoria, Illinois. Algunas actividades que disfruto son leer (¡dime tu mejor recomendación del libro!), dibujar, hacer yoga, y beber boba y matcha. ¡Estoy muy emocionada conocer gente nueva y mejorar mi nivel de español en Mi Pueblo!

Hello! My name is Liz Mueller, and I’m studying Graphic Design with a minor in Spanish. I’m a junior at the University. I’m from a small town called Germantown Hills, which is near Peoria, Illinois. Some activities that I enjoy are reading (give your best book recommendation!), drawing, doing yoga, and drinking boba and matcha! I am so excited to get to know new people and improve my level of Spanish through Mi Pueblo!

My name is Ella Ruiz and I am a junior at the University of Illinois. I am studying Marketing and Information Systems with a minor in Spanish. On campus, I am in the Gies Scholars Program, a business fraternity, and the American Marketing Association. I like Mi Pueblo because I am able to meet new people and practice my Spanish.

On campus, I am in a Ascend ( a Pan-Asian business organization) and the Supply Chain Management Association. I’m so excited for this semester in Mi Pueblo!
