Undergraduate Research

Neuroscience majors can pursue undergraduate research alongside our pioneering faculty and brilliant graduate students. Scientists in the School of Molecular & Cellular Biology have uncovered novel insights into auditory processing disorders, epilepsy, Fragile X syndrome, and their discoveries have led to new therapies. Labs focus on a variety of exciting topics in neuroscience—sensory processing, neuroendocrinology, physiology of neurons and glia, regeneration, cell signaling—and researchers use state-of-the-art techniques such as optogenetics and neuroimaging.

For more information on how to become a student researcher, please visit the school’s Undergraduate Research page.
