Deepthi Suresh (she/her) earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Bioengineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She began her research in 2018, working on integrating robotic systems into lab workflow and studying gel biomaterials that would allow for bacteria suspension with the use of pipetting robots. She now studies engineering education in relation to bioengineering. Her research interests focus on undergraduate career outcome expectations, currently with respect to the fields of artificial intelligence and quality engineering.
