We welcome any collaborative research/work no matter that you are abroad or you are affiliated with other university or company.

Introduction to CNL

The Communications and Networking Laboratory (CNL), led by Prof. Jaewoo So, was established in September 2008 as the part of Department of Electronic Engineering at Sogang University, Seoul, Korea. Our research covers the algorithms, protocols, design, and analysis of communication systems and networks. Research topics are

  • Wireless Communications and Networking
Architectures and protocols for wireless communications and cognitive radio networks. Radio resource management, multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO), and coordinated multi-point (CoMP) in wireless communications; and cooperative sensing for cognitive radio networks
  • Communication Network Design and Analysis
Optimization and performance analysis of wireless/wired networks and convergence networks.
  • HetNets, Converged Broadcast and Cellular Service
Radio resouce management and seamless roaming in heterogeneous networks (HetNets). Wireless mobility and broadcast service on every object for mobile personal interactive broadband.
