The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and DePaul University are proud to present the 27th IME Congress in Chicago.
The State of Illinois has the unique advantage of hosting insurance conferences. Illinois is home to 191 property and casualty insurers, 38 life insurers and 43 health insurers. Illinois insurers are often number one in the nation in terms of premiums written for property and casualty and number one in the nation for overall insurance premiums written P&C, Life and Health. The insurance industry contributes 4.8 percent of the GDP to the State of Illinois, which is higher than hospital, food services industries, and even agricultural commodity industry.
We hope to bring together world renowned scholars, experts from the insurance industry and graduate students from around the world to share the excitement of actuarial, insurance and risk management research. There will be a series of keynote speeches and invited talks on latest trends both in academia and in the industry as well as networking events. We look forward to welcoming you in the Windy City!
