IBIP Croatia Class Blog

Welcome to the class blog for ACE 436: International Business Immersion Program (IBIP) Croatia. This course is a recurring international experiential learning course offered by the Department of Agricultural and Consumer Economics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. This year, the course will travel for two weeks in May all around Croatia as students learn about the unique recreation and tourism economics of Croatia from their professor and Croatian native, Renata Endres.

Follow us each day as a new team of student bloggers offer their fresh perspectives and observations of their time in Croatia.

ABOUT THE STUDENTS

Most of the students traveling with IBIP are visiting Croatia for the first time. Some have never left the United States before this trip. Others arrived in the United States as immigrants or international students themselves, and some have traveled the world already. They are students from a wide variety of academic disciplines and come from a variety of cultural and linguistic backgrounds. They grew up on small farms, mid-size towns, suburbs and large cities. Each one has a unique voice and story to share.

Please join us in reading about their adventures and cross-cultural observations as we travel throughout Croatia.
