Julia Tran is a Training and Development Director in the Human Resources department at the State of Minnesota, Information Technology Services agency. She earned a B.S. in Human Resource Development and Business Marketing Education with a minor in Human Resource Industrial Relations at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Currently, she is working towards a Masters of Education with a specialization in Human Resources Development at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Through this project, she hopes to explore multiple learning platforms and applications that would provide learners with educational opportunities and resources to meet their individualized professional development goals, and support their career path.

Dana Tempel is the Assistant Director of the Center for Academic Resources in Engineering (CARE).  She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Illinois University. Currently she is working toward a Higher Education Masters of Education (EdM).  Through this project I hope to learn about the different platforms available and which ones to consider to help students collaborate, learn, and be connected.
