I would like to invite you to join the Big Brothers Big Sisters Registered Student Organization at U of I. The mission of BBBS at UIUC is to increase the number of student mentors in order to meet the need of the hundreds of local kids that are currently on the waiting list. Not only do we match in School Based and Community based matches, we also provide students without transportation the opportunity to be matched by transporting their Littles to the Union every Monday to hang out with their Bigs.
Great reasons to join!

- · A great chance to meet other Bigs and share ideas.
- · Great way to effect change in the local community.
- · Seasonal program events: Halloween parties, fishing trips, etc.
- · Help more local children get matched by helping fundraise.
- · Allow more students the experience of being that special Big to a child.
- · All time dedicated to our RSO counts as Service Hours!
Only two basic requirements for membership:
- · Attend biweekly fundraising Meetings.
- · Earn 10 fundraising points each semester. They are easy to earn! Just volunteer at a football game, help with a couple bake sales, etc.
