Biography

Zac Traughber hails from Mundelein, IL where his love of animals began at a very young age. His ambitions for working with animals never faded and after a brief stint as a high school florist at his local Flowerama, he moved away to college. He attended the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign where he spent a summer working at the Imported Swine Research Lab before moving back home for an internship at the Mundelein Animal Hospital. Zac joined Dr. Godoy’s Companion Animal Nutrition lab immediately after graduating and plans to complete a Ph.D. with Dr. Maria R.C. de Godoy with a primary focus in dietary fiber before moving forward to make his mark on the pet food industry.
