Kristian was born in Bulgaria, a country in Eastern Europe next to the Black Sea. When Kristian was two years old, he and his family moved to Chicago, Illinois. Kristian has lived in Chicago ever since, prior to moving to Champaign to pursue a career in animal sciences. After obtaining his bachelor’s degree, Kristian returned to the University of Illinois in pursuit of a master’s degree in animal nutrition. After this semester, he will be applying for veterinary school in hope of obtaining a DVM.
