We are now accepting abstracts for presentations for the 73rd Annual Chief Engineers & Facility Managers Training Conference.
We seek high quality educational presentations on the latest technologies and applications used in the efficient and sustainable operation of buildings. Building engineers, facility managers and industry experts are encouraged to deliver presentations that offer conference attendees the opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, and discuss common interests.
Presentation time slots are usually 25-40 minutes in length, with a few minutes for questions and discussion following the presentation. With sufficient notice, we can adjust presentation length as needed.
Joint presentations that feature Chief Engineers and other consultants or vendors are encouraged. All presentations must be made by the individual(s) who submitted the abstracts. Joint presentations must include both partners.
We welcome a wide range of presentation topics, including:
- Building occupant comfort
- Code compliance
- Deferred maintenance
- Employee management best practices
- Energy management topics
- Facilities budget and finance
- Indoor air quality
- Long-range sustainability planning
- Water quality management
- Smart Building Technology – in practice or planned
- Sustainability – best practices and/or what did/didn’t work
- Standby/vacation mode for vacant buildings
