09/10/2017 I just learned that my team was selected for renewal funds for an NSF funded project that seeks to apply the science of teamwork to germinate radically diverse collaborations focused on important scientific topics. Here's the info.

06/14/2017 My research team's presentation at ICA received a Best of the B.E.S.T. Presentation Award from the Organizational Communication Division. I'm proud of my team's efforts to share our research!

5/13/2017 An article I co-authored with Nikki Weickum was just published in the Annals of the ICA. We review extant research on collaborative teams and identify emergent patterns in how this phenomenon has been studied. Check it out!

I just found out I have been selected as a fellow at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications next year. This is a spectacular opportunity to continue my research on interdisciplinary teams in high tech contexts!

A few colleagues and I have been awarded an INTERSECT grant to build an interdisciplinary program drawing together scholars interested in STS across UIUC (an extension of the Learning to See Systems program). This means we'll get to put together some fun classes and hopefully spark some interesting discussions.

In a few weeks, I will present some findings from my dissertation at the annual meetings of the American Meteorological Society. I'm excited to interact with the community that welcomed me for my dissertation fieldwork.
