Amber Kainz

Amber Kainz double majors in Global Studies and Political Science, and is pursuing a Certificate in International Development. In addition to working as an office assistant for ACDIS, she is the Internal Vice President and a Project Lead for Engineers Without Borders, a non-profit student organization that facilitates sustainable development projects abroad, and is a community service Project Coordinator for Alpha Phi Omega, a service fraternity.

Her interests relate to development in conflict areas, and Russian and East European studies. Next spring she will study abroad in St. Petersburg to further her knowledge of the Russian language and culture. In the future, Amber hopes to further development initiatives as a member of the Foreign Service, Peace Corps, or another global non-profit, and will continue to learn new languages and be of help to the under served whenever possible.
