ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM

Theme

The 2022 theme is Mitigating The Impacts of Human Activities on The Environment”. This theme was chosen by the Symposium organizers who seek solutions to mitigate the impact of human activities on the natural environment. We hope that this Symposium will bring together researchers from a wide variety of backgrounds and specialties to present their research, ideas, and visions about Environmental Engineering and Science and its role in mitigating the impacts of human activities on the environment.

Organizers

The Symposium is traditionally organized and hosted by the students in CEE 595G, which is a professional development seminar course taken by the Civil and Environmental Engineering students in the EES MS degree program. This is a great opportunity to meet and interact with other students, faculty and alumni in the environmental engineering community. Students present their research or special projects through oral or poster presentations.
