Faculty will learn about the following at the DRES/IT Accessibility @Illinois table:
- Technologies that students with disabilities are using to access their classroom materials electronically
- How to submit materials to DRES so that materials may be made accessible for their students with disabilities including, captioning videos and converting textbook and other written materials into alternative formats
- Suggestions for classroom universal design strategies
- Resources available through IT Accessibility@Illinois to train and support faculty as they make their courses accessible to all students on campus
- Opportunity to learn about tools and staff available through IT Accessibility@Illinois for faculty to use to enhance course accessibility
