1st Midwest Workshop on Mechanics of Materials and Structures                       University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign

The Mid.Mech.Mat. is a one day workshop that aims at bringing together researchers from the Midwest universities and industries working on contemporary topics in mechanics of new, complex and multifunctional materials to exchange ideas, present their most exciting research and explore new collaboration avenues in an informal and vibrant setting.

This year’s workshop will be hosted by University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign on August 26, 2015. The program includes student oral presentations, a poster session and eight invited talks. Confirmed speakers are:
