Space 3D Printer Featured in Smithsonian

This week I read an interesting article by Michael Molitch-Hou via 3D printing industries. In their new exhibit “Tools: Extending Our Reach”, the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum in New York is displaying the Made In Space Zero-G 3D printer. This printer, the first ever designed to operate in zero gravity, was installed aboard the International Space Station on September 21, 2014. You can find more information on the printer here. If you have the chance to visit New York, check it out!
