City Year is hiring 3,000 recent college graduates (or students that want to take a year off) to work full time at our 24 US locations. We hire City Year corps members to work for one academic school year to keep students in school and on track to graduation. Teams of highly-trained corps members serve full-time in schools as tutors, mentors and role models. By focusing on attendance, behavior and course performance, which identify students who are at risk of dropping out, corps members are uniquely able to help students and schools succeed.
We are the most diverse youth service corps in the country so we accept all majors, our members are not teachers which is why we don’t limit our recruitment to schools of education. Corps members pursue a variety of careers after City Year.
