From Assistant Dean, Kathy Ryan:

I need your help in creating a new brochure highlighting the culture of inclusivity in the College of Education.  This brochure will be used to recruit a diverse group of prospective high school and transfer students to our college.  It is important that students considering majoring in education at Illinois are aware of the value we place on the expression of different voices, perspectives and ideas in our college.

I am seeking your voice in this endeavor.  Please tell me in your own words what you think about the College of Education’s commitment to diversity and respect for different identities.  How has this environment been instrumental in your development and learning?

Everyone who submits their thoughts to me will be awarded an Illini Candy Bar!

Two student quotes will be selected for the brochure and the students will be asked to have their photo taken for display alongside their quote in our brochure.
