Notice on Stopping Out of Education Programs

Dear Students,

Please be aware that if you are planning on leaving the University for one semester or more (excluding summer terms), the College of Education requires that you complete and submit a “Stopping Out” Form.  You can find this form by scrolling down to the bottom of the forms page  http://education.illinois.edu/students/undergraduate-forms .  While this is not a common occurrence, and few of you will be affected by this policy, it is still important that you are aware of the appropriate process in this situation.  Please note:  this is different than a withdrawal.  Stopping out means you complete the prior semester but opt not to return for the next semester.
