Advisory Group

An Advisory Group consisting of students, campus staff with space or design experience and IT professionals will gather ideas for collaborative work spaces and determine which should be funded. The Advisory Group will evaluate student usage of the new spaces and create recommendations that can be used by other campus groups seeking to build similar work spaces.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Determine the criteria to decide which ideas should be funded
  • Seek collaborative work space proposals from campus
  • Identify and fund up to 10 proposals exploring unique combinations of technology, furniture and location
  • Partner with selected units to set up the new work spaces
  • Determine evaluation criteria and evaluate student usage in all funded proposals
  • Make the usage evaluations and recommendations available to campus
