About the eLearning Office

Our Vision

To be an integral part of our College’s mission in the development and preparation of our students, future leaders in business and public service around the world.

Central to our mission is the research, development, implementation and evaluation of learning technologies and best pedagogical practices to help our college reach excellence in scholarship, academics and service.

Our Mission

The eLearning Office serves the Gies College of Business faculty and staff providing quality learning experiences for our students and helping in the design and development of courses using different delivery modes. That includes modalities such technology integration to enhance face-to-face courses, and creating “flipped” or hybrid classes. We also help in the design and implementation of fully online courses, and MOOCs. Leveraging any of them, initially and especially on your own, can be a daunting task.

Our Staff

To assist you, the eLearning Office staff will provide advice and support regarding eLearning pedagogy and course design, use of learning tools and media elements, student support, as well as online course management and strategy.
