Writing Reflection

To my inquisitive audience,

I will admit that I have not reflected much on my writing until now, but I would say that it has improved since my first essay in the beginning of the semester. Thinking about how to stay on task and focusing on my work has always been a challenging feat for me, but I think it has improved. Now, I am always trying to relate back to my thesis instead of just wandering and trying to find my way at the end. I have also started trying to incorporate what I find in the works I read into my papers, such as how they grab their reader or how their style of writing makes me feel and shapes the work. I really enjoyed writing about Hills Like White Elephants by Hemingway because it allowed me to dig deeper and analysis the  text. Making an in depth analysis has showed me that I have the intelligence to dig deeper, and has in a way put me into the shows of the author. Now I can see that Hemingway did not necessarily hate women, as he gives the illusion that Jog keeps the baby and leaves the American. That is my stance, and I am sticking by it. And reflecting on my writing has helped me analyze text, and be a better writer.

Keep reading, dear reader.

Best,

Anthony
