Alternating Target Search Project

According to Target-Contrast Signal Theory (TCST), parallel visual search unfolds via the active comparison between the search template and all stimuli in the search array, with the goal of rejecting non-target items and eventually directing one’s attention to the search target (Lleras, Wang, Ng, Ballew, Xu, & Buetti, 2020). Inspired by the work of Carlisle, Arita, Pardo and Woodman (2011), this project aims to study TCST in the context of alternating search templates.
