Research highlights:
– I will present my poster “Systematic Reviews of Data Models Used in Mapping Knowledge Organization Systems” at ASIS&T 2021 in Salt Lake City, and I will also participate in the doctoral colloquium.
– I am the recipient of the 2021 Beta Phi Mu Eugene Garfield Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship.
– I am writing book chapters about provenance metadata (coauthored with Drs. Rhiannon Bettivia and Michael Gryk).
– I participated in the NASKO 2021 Doctoral Colloquium in July.
– I was awarded an extended LEADS-4-NDP fellowship for 2020. My work was feature on the LEADING highlights page.

Teaching highlights:
– I was the instructor of IS575 Metadata in Theory & Practice as instructor of record for Summer 2021.
– I completed the CITL Graduate Teacher Certificate application and was awarded the certificate!
– I was the TA for IS505 Information Organization and Access for Spring 2021, and did a guest lecture about Quality of Metadata and Authority Control.
– We hosted a 2nd Provenance workshop at iConference 2021, offering tutorials on Provenance metadata standards and tools.
– I was awarded Teacher Rank as Excellent for Spring 2020.
