Yiren Wang

irene-graduate2

I’m a third year Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I’m a member of the Text Information Management and Analysis (TIMAN) group, supervised by Professor ChengXiang Zhai.

In general, my research interests are at the intersection of natural language processing and machine learning. Recently, I am working on neural machine translation and language modeling. I am also interested in AI in financial domain, including text mining and machine learning for time series prediction.
