Hi there!

This is Yao Zhou and I graduated from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) under the supervision of Dr. Jingrui He. My research interests fall into Data Mining and Machine Learning. Specifically, I work on solving problems that have humans in the loop, e.g., Crowdsourcing, Heterogeneous Learning, Machine Teaching, and Recommender System.

Prior to that, I was a member of the Computer Vision Lab, supervised by Dr. Sinisa Todorovic, at Oregon State University and a member of the VISTA Lab, supervised by Dr. Jiebo Luo, at University of Rochester. I obtained two master’s degrees from these two institutes.
