Matt Smith

Matt Smith is a research programmer at the University of Illinois. He maintains XPACC’s simulation code, PlasComCM, ensuring that changes and additions to the code meet the standards of quality and compatibility required for its continued use within the center. He also works with overset meshes and is currently developing an overset grid assembly tool called Overkit. He holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics, Engineering, and Physics (AMEP) from the University of Wisconsin and an M.S. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Illinois.
