Jonathan Retter

Jonathan Retter is a PhD student in the Aerospace Engineering department at UIUC working under the guidance of Professors Elliott and Glumac. His work for XPACC centers around the characterization of the effect a DBD plasma has on a hydrogen flame in quiescent air. Experimental methods thus far include the use of schlieren imaging, particle image velocimetry, and absorption spectroscopy. Jonathan, although originally from Pennsylvania, grew up in Austin, Texas where he received his bachelors in Aerospace Engineering at UT Austin.
