Jonah Taylor

Jonah Taylor is a graduate student in the department of Mechanical Science and Engineering at UIUC. He is advised by Professor Kelly Stephani. He is currently working on simulating the process of laser-induced break down (LIB) in plasmas using particle in cell methods. Jonah is from Honolulu, Hawaii. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Physics from Occidental College with a minor in mathematics. As an undergraduate he interned at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory where he worked on machine learning and object recognition in satellite images.
