Esteban Cisneros Garibay

Esteban was born in Guadalajara, Mexico, where he graduated from Universidad Panamericana. He went on to earn a M.S. in aerospace engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington, where he worked under Prof. Luca Massa on reduced modeling of plasma kinetics. He is currently working under the supervision of Prof. Jonathan Freund and Prof. Carlos Pantano on reduced chemical kinetics model selection, calibration and inadequacy modeling using a Bayesian framework. Amongst his research interests are plasma-assisted combustion, combustion modeling, non-equilibrium flows, multi-physics applications and uncertainty quantification.
