Dr. Pilbum Kim

Pilbum Kim was a postdoctoral researcher at XPACC, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He received his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from University of California, Los Angeles in 2016. His research interest is numerical simulation of turbulent flows, physics of turbulent flows at thermal and chemical non-equilibrium and numerical algorithms for high performance computing. He is currently working on developing and validating plasma kinetic models for realistic simulations of plasma assisted combustion.
