The Molecular Evolution Laboratory is dedicated to using evolutionary tools to understand the molecular underpinnings of important processes and phenotypes including:

• The biology of pregnancy
• Evolution of genes X environment interactions
• Mammalian phylogenetics
• Rates of nucleotide sequence evolution
• The evolution of the brain
• Primate evolutionary genetics
