Faculty Conference Coordinator: Dr. Eunjung Grace Oh    

Dr. Eunjung Grace Oh is an Assistant Professor of Human Resource Development in the Department of Education Policy, Organization and Leadership at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Grace has diverse professional experiences in Korea and the United States. Her research interest includes teaching and learning in online and technology-enhanced learning environments to facilitate meaningful learning and engagement, different generational groups of workforce in terms of their learning, use of and perspective about technology, and design-based research. She teaches courses on Training Systems Design/Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, Online Teaching and Learning, Adult and Professional Education, Program Evaluation, and Management of eLearning. She is also a coordinator of undergraduate Workplace Training and Development Concentration of Learning and Education Studies. Her Ph.D. is in Learning, Design, and Technology from the University of Georgia.

Student Lead Coordinator: Boreum Ju 

Boreum Ju is a doctoral student in HRD, EPOL. Her primary research interests focus on performance improvement and leadership in workplace settings. Her further research interests include implications for HRD in cross-cultural contexts and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC). She has worked in business and academic institutions for more than five years.

Program Organization Lead:  Meng-Fan Shih

As the Vice President of HRD Student Association, Meng-Fan is in her 2nd year of Human Resource Development master’s study. Her concentration covers Training and Development in both higher-education and industrial settings. She has led several on-campus training programs for undergraduate and graduate students. Currently, Meng-Fan’s working as an E-Learning Support Assistance to help instructors redesign their course rubrics for Compass 2G platform. Besides the T&D topic, Meng-Fan has a passionate interest in Organizational Development, Psychology, and Communication.

Promotion and Social Media Lead: Xiaoyu Liu 

Xiaoyu Liu is a graduate student in HRD, EPOL. She previously interned in Save the Children as an HR assistant and Audi China as an intern consultant. She also taught Business English to college students from Kazakhstan, Burma, and South Korea. Her career goal is to be a trainer focusing on employee learning and development in an international corporate setting.

Hospitality Lead: Miranda Meng

Miranda Meng, President of Human Resource Development Student Association, is passionate in training development in International Corporation and Non-Profit Organization. Working as a Research Assistant at the Office of International Programs at College of Education, Miranda promotes global understanding through outreaches and designing online courses; she also helps to establish a recruiting system for the office. On the other hand, as a graduate assistant at The Career Center, Miranda facilitates 12 small group facilitators and devoted to supporting international students’ career development. She has always put her greatest efforts to help talents developing themselves and promote inter-culture understanding.

Technical Support Lead: Sujin You

Sujin You is a proactive people person who is passionate about organizational development. Sujin has worked for academic institutions and a government agency as a curriculum specialist and as an Assistant Director of Training for five years. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in HRD at the University of Illinois. She is also serving as a Chair of Public Relation in the HRD Student Association. Her interest includes organizational development in corporate settings and national HRD. Planting innovation in individuals and organizations is her keen concern.
