Faculty Conference Coordinator: Dr. Eunjung Grace Oh    

Dr. Eunjung Grace Oh is an Assistant Professor of Human Resource Development in the Department of Education Policy, Organization and Leadership at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  Her research interest includes teaching and learning in online and technology-enhanced learning environments to facilitate meaningful learning and engagement, different generational groups of workforce in terms of their learning, use of and perspective about technology, and design-based research. She teaches courses on Training Systems Design/Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, Online Teaching and Learning, Adult and Professional Education, Program Evaluation, and Management of eLearning. She is also a coordinator of undergraduate Workplace Training and Development Concentration of Learning and Education Studies. Her PhD is in Learning, Design and Technology from the University of Georgia.

Student Lead Coordinator: Boreum Ju 

 

Boreum Ju is a doctoral student in HRD, EPOL. Her primary research interests focus on performance improvement and leadership in workplace settings. Her further research interests include implications for HRD in cross-cultural contexts and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC). She has worked in business and academic institutions for more than five years.

Program Organization Lead:  Eunbyul (Emma) Park 

Eunbyul(Emma) Park is currently in the Master’s program in EPOL, with the concentration of Human Resource Development, and will begin the PhD program this fall. Her interests in the field are a cross-cultural aspect in workplace and its influence on organization performance, as well as knowledge work. Her academic interests are rooted from her unique previous work experience as a program manager for English education in South Korea.

Conference Social and Promotion Lead: Xiaoyu Liu

 

Xiaoyu Liu, a graduate student in Human Resource Development, is passionate in training and consulting. Currently, she is the graduate assistant in the Office of Inclusion and Intercultural Relations, managing the Student Cultural Programming Fee (SCPF). She provides training for the SCPF Advisory Board, student organizations as well as university departments who are interested in applying for the fee. She has various experiences with designing online learning modules and teaching to a diverse group in the classroom.

Social Media and Technical Support Lead: Xuehui Chao

Xuehui Chao is a master student in HRD in the Department of EPOL. Her major interest is in human resource capital and human resource development in Financial industry. She previously interned in China Venture Capital and Private Equity Association as an assistant consultant to develop Financial industry employees’ capabilities. And her goal is to be an HR professional in the career and organization development field in the Financial industry.
