I periodically have funding to bring on additional graduate students, post-doctoral research associates, and field or lab technicians.  These positions will generally be posted on the Illinois Jobs Board, Texas A&M’s Wildlife Jobs Board, and the Ornithology Exchange Jobs Board.  That being said, don’t hesitate to reach out via email to ask about potential opportunities.

Graduate students in our research group have sought degrees through the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences or the Program in Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation Biology.  Here’s a great overview by Dr. Larkin Powell of the basics of applying to graduate schools in wildlife or natural resources: http://alandethic.blogspot.com/2019/01/basics-about-applying-for-grad-school.html
