Fall Semester Spring Semester
Sophomore Year Begin course work for Technology & Management Option Apply for admission by April 30th; summer internship completed; Suggested Courses:  AGED 260, ACE 232
Junior Year Experiential Learning:  Research internship on campus; Suggested Courses:  ANSC 471; ACE 240; AGED 380 Experiential Learning:  Undergrad lab project or study abroad; Summer Experiential Learning:  Internship with production company; Suggested Courses:  ANSC 409,
Senior Year Experiential Learning:  Undergraduate lab project; Suggested Courses:  ANSC 431, ANSC 452, ANSC 467, ACE 222 Experiential Learning:  Internship with production company during winter break; Suggested Courses:  ANSC 440, ANSC 363, ANSC 403
Post Graduation Follow-up Interview at 1, 3, and 5 years post-completion of the program to provide information on benefits and improvements for the program.

 

Course Work

Students will follow the normal sequence of courses for the Technology and Management concentration of the B.S. degree in Animal Science (for a complete list of recommended courses, please click here).  Students may also choose to obtain a Minor in Leadership Studies, which would require a few additional courses and can be found on the Leadership website, listed below.  In addition, the following are potential targeted elective courses that should be considered:
