66% of fourth-grade girls express interest in science and math but only 18% of college STEM majors are girls. Here at SWE, we want to fix that. On this page, we’ve included some our favorite videos and presentations that address the gender discrepancy in STEM and provide tips for giving young girls the support they need to pursue a STEM career.

  1. When girls miss out on pursuing their dreams, we all miss out. See why here.
  2. Every year, we give an impactful presentation to parents of middle schoolers about how to encourage girls in science. Check it out here.
  3. Children 13 and older (and under 13 with a parent’s permission) can become a part of SWENext, which offers information about upcoming events, scholarships, webinars, and other valuable resources.
