Application

Qualifications: Participants must be at least 14 years old on the first day of the program. There is no upper age limit. Younger students may be considered on a limited basis; contact us for more information.

To complete the application form, you will need:

  1. A repertoire list of works studied in the last three years.
  2. Two recordings representing contrasting periods. (waived for current U of I students, and students of guest faculty for SPI)

The recordings may be uploaded directly into the application form, or you may chose to provide links to these files on the web (YouTube, SoundCloud…)

Admission is on a rolling basis.

Tuition

Adult participants – $700, does not include room and meals.
Youth Participants – $1200, includes dorm accommodations, meals and counselor supervision.

Tuition includes daily access to grand piano practice rooms, private lessons and participation in master classes and the final gala concerts. These fees also provide admission to all concerts.

For adult participants, housing and meals are offered in the newly renovated Illinois Street Residence Halls, located close to the School of Music.

Housing rates for 2022. Arrival on Sunday, departure on Sunday; seven (7) nights.

$390, single room
$254, shared room (2 people)

Meal plans for 2022. Includes all meals from

$150, all meals from breakfast on Monday through lunch on Saturday (except Monday dinner*).
$37, breakfast only, Monday through Saturday.

Monday evening, all participants are invited to our traditional Garden Party with food and beverage provided.

Refund Policies

Until June 24, full refund for withdrawal.
June 24-July 24, refund of all but $200.
Sunday, July 24, no refund for withdrawal after 1:00 PM (the start of the program).

Meal plans are not refundable less than 30 days before the start of the class (June 24).

In the case of event cancellation, all fees will be fully refundable.
