I am a Mechanical Engineering Ph.D. candidate at University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. I work with the Computational Multiscale Nanosystems group at Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology. My research focuses on studying various energy loss mechanisms at mega-to-gigahertz frequencies in micro-to-nanometer length vibrating structures. The objective is to understand the underlying physics and develop computational models for dissipation over multiple length scales.
