We get quite a few inquiries from students asking if we offer courses on web- and app-development. We don’t offer any for-credit courses on these topics, per se, at UIUC, but if you have any students (or friends, colleagues, yourselves!) who are wondering where they can go to pick up some skills, we have a great suggestion.
Our very own CS Professor Lawrence Angrave has assembled a Coursera online course on creating Android Apps with a session that begins October 20th:
The course is free and no prior programming experience is required.
