Who should apply?
STEM graduate students or post-doctoral scholars who identify as women and are planning to apply for a post-doctoral or faculty position between the fall of 2023 and the spring of 2025. Preference will be given to those who are planning a job search during the 2023/24 academic year. All applicants should be committed to attending each workshop, creating draft statements, and collaborating with their peer groups throughout the entire program.
What is the cost?
The cost of the complete workshop series is $250. All applicants will be considered for financial support.
When are the workshops?
Workshops are held via Zoom from May 30 to August 15. Workshops will be on Tuesdays starting at 6:00 pm CT and last approximately 90 minutes.
Each week we will cover different aspects of the faculty job search. The complete schedule will be sent to participants upon acceptance. After learning about a major required document (CV, cover letter, teaching statement, research statement, and job talk slides), you will draft the document and then exchange them with your peer group. You will find a mutually agreeable time to meet with your peer group and mentor to discuss feedback and questions.
If you still have questions, check out our FAQ page or Contact Us.
