Mission
SPGO is an RSO formed for the purpose of representing the interests of our graduate students. SPGO is governed by a committee of graduate students from the Department. This governing committee consists of M.A. and Ph.D. students in Spanish and Portuguese in linguistics and literary/cultural studies. Every effort is made to assure proportional representation by language and program. The Department Head and the DGS regularly consult with the governing committee regarding curricula, policies, and other matters pertaining to graduate studies. Read our bylaws.
