Pedagogies of engagement
Pedagogies of engagement are teaching strategies used intentionally to foster student mastery of course concepts through cognitive and emotional engagement. The emphasis is on actively engaging students with learning.
Pedagogies of engagement may be classified based on instructional approaches, learning techniques, learner behavior, and learning outcomes. However, by altering an individual pedagogy by a bit could effectively place that pedagogy in a different category.
