We are a team of faculty, staff and students working to advance excellence in teaching methods through a podcasting (digital storytelling) medium. In Spring 2025, we launched Season 1 of the SIIP and Share Podcast, highlighting stories of Strategic Instructional Innovations Program (SIIP) Projects. Season 2 is dropping in Fall 2025!

We published two papers at the 2025 ASEE Conference in Montreal, Canada (June 22-25, 2025):
- A podcast toolkit for engineering educators: “Developing a Podcasting Platform to Support Engineering Education“
- Use of podcasts to connect students to researchers in a technical robotics elective: “A Design-Based Research Course for Biomedical Engineering Students“
This project is funded by the Strategic Instructional Innovations Program (SIIP) through the Academy for Excellence in Engineering Education (AE3) in the Grainger College of Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign.
