About Us

The Field Crop Entomology Program at the University of Illinois is housed in the Department of Crop Sciences. We develop integrated pest management strategies for insects in corn, soybean, wheat, and other agronomic crops for use by Illinois farmers. Our work includes Extension, research, and teaching programs, and we collaborate with farmers, industry personnel, and students to solve pest management problems.
