Hello! My name is Sandra and I’m a junior majoring in Integrative Biology with minors in Chemistry and Spanish. I’m from Harvard, a small town in northern Illinois.
At UIUC, I’m involved in various clubs and organizations. I’m the President of the United Greek Council Executive Board, the Vice President of Finance for the Delta Chapter of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc., the Vice President of Mi Pueblo Spanish Conversation RSO, a member of the Pre-Dental Club, and a member of Delta Delta Sigma Pre-Dental Fraternity. Additionally, I’ve worked as a peer mentor for multiple programs on campus and do research in integrative biology!
My hobbies include reading, crocheting, cross-stitching, and practicing my guitar(s). I also love going on walks with my family and dogs!
My favorite part of UIUC has been meeting so many people through the organizations I’ve joined. It’s nice to interact with people from so many different backgrounds and majors!
