The group had our 3rd Annual Apple Picking Event. The apple donuts were delicious!

September 8th was the Chapter Meet and Greet at the Native American House. Here are some pictures. 

Summer Social Event

Join the chapter for a social event this month on Saturday, July 29th from 1-4pm at our webmaster’s house! Brenda is hosting our social and the chapter will provide burgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs and buns, but feel free to bring your favorite dish or beverage to share.

National Conference

Abstract Submission Deadline

The SACNAS conference this fall is in Salt Lake City, Utah! It is fun and valuable in supporting career success, helping you to surpass barriers you are facing, and learn about all of the opportunities that are available once you finish your degree. We want all of our SACNISTAs to go, so if you attend meetings this fall we will make sure that you are fully funded for the SACNAS conference. 

For all of you interested, abstracts are due by TOMORROW July 14, 2017, so make sure to get those in using the link below if you want to be fully funded by our chapter!

Bagels and Coffee @ La Casa Cultural Latina

Monday, Feb. 13th between 8:30 – 10:00

UIUC SACNAS Chapter we will be hosting a morning of coffee, bagels, and conversation. Come meet our chapter, find out about our events this semester, and get involved.

Dear SACNAS Members and Alumni,

It’s been 7 years since the SACNAS Chapter at UIUC was established and we want to begin to create a network for current and former UIUC SACNAS members. Wilfred has advised us to reach out to everyone.

Our plan is to highlight alumni and their careers and accomplishments on our website. We would also be creating a database with contact information for members only to facilitate the connection between the past and current members.
