MATH 441 Midterm Conflict 1 Information

If you believe that you have a conflict with Midterm 1, please read the university policy on evening midterm exams.
To request a conflict exam, please follow these steps carefully by Saturday, September 28 at 6pm.

  1. Send email to Professor Laugesen (Laugesen@illinois.edu).
  2. You must send the email from your university account (so that we can identify you and respond).
  3. The subject line must be Math 441 conflict.
  4. Include your full name.
  5. Describe the precise nature of the conflict (see again the university policy on evening midterm exams).
  6. Example: for a conflict with an exam in another course, you need to include the name of the other course and the date and time of that exam, as well as the professor’s name.

If you miss the sign-up deadline for the conflict exam then you might not be allowed to take it, and may have to take the regular exam or accept a zero score.

If your request for a conflict exam is approved:

We will email you by Sunday September 29 at 6pm to tell you whether your request has been approved.
Time of the conflict exam: 8:00-9:15am (in the morning), Thursday, October 3.

Room: 1 Illini Hall.

Only students who have been approved in advance will be permitted to take the conflict exam.
