MATH 441 Final Exam Conflict Information

If you believe that you have a conflict with the Final Exam, please read the university policy on fine exams.
To request a conflict exam, please follow these steps carefully by Wednesday, December 11 at 6pm.

  1. Send email to Professor Laugesen (Laugesen@illinois.edu).
  2. You must send the email from your university account (so that we can identify you and respond).
  3. The subject line must be Math 441 conflict.
  4. Include your full name.
  5. Describe the precise nature of the conflict (see again the university policy on final exams).
  6. Example: for a conflict with an exam in another course, you need to include the name of the other course as well as the professor’s name.
If you miss the sign-up deadline for the conflict exam then you might not be allowed to take it, and may have to take the regular exam or accept a zero score.

If your request for a conflict exam is approved:

We will email you by Friday, December 13 at 9am to tell you whether your request has been approved.
Time of the conflict examTuesday, December 17, 7:00-10:00pm in the evening

Room: 1002 Lincoln Hall. Only students who have been approved in advance will be permitted to take the conflict exam.
